Foreign Minister of Bangladesh to Visit Cambodia This Week

H.E. Dr. A.K. Abdul Momen, M.P., Minister of Foreign Affairs of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh, will lead a delegation to pay an official visit to the Kingdom of Cambodia from July 14-16, at the invitation of H.E. PRAK Sokhonn, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation.

During the visit, H.E. Dr. A.K. Abdul Momen will pay a courtesy call on Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia, and hold a bilateral meeting with H.E. Deputy Prime Minister PRAK Sokhonn, pointed out a press release of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation AKP received this morning.

The two Foreign Ministers will discuss various aspects of relations and cooperation as well as regional and international issues of common interest and concerns, it added.

During his stay in Phnom Penh, the source continued, H.E. Dr. A.K. Abdul Momen will deliver a lecture at a seminar organised by the National Institute of Diplomacy and International Relations (NIDIR) of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of Cambodia.

“The visit of H.E. Dr. A.K. Abdul Momen to Cambodia will reaffirm the commitment of both countries to further enhance the existing good relations and cooperation for mutual benefits of the two peoples,” underlined the press release.
