Cambodian Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of Cambodia H.E. Prak Sokhonn attended on Nov. 30 via videoconference the opening session of the ASEAN High-level Forum on Sub-Regional Cooperation for Sustainable Development and Inclusive Growth, initiated and hosted by Viet Nam.
The Forum was opened by H.E. Pham Minh Chinh, Prime Minister of Viet Nam, H.E. Phankham Viphavanh, Prime Minister of the Lao PDR, via pre-recorded video, and other dignitaries.
H.E. Deputy Prime Minister Prak Sokhonn delivered his opening address, on behalf of Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia.
According to a press release of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, during the Forum, government officials from around the region and representatives of international organisations and development partners participated in two sessions of discussion on (1) Recovering together: Advancing sub-regional cooperation in ASEAN and (2) ASEAN’s partnership with external partners and relevant stakeholders in sub-regional development and narrowing development gaps.
