COVID-19: Three More Patients Recovered

Three more patients have successfully been cured from the COVID-19 pandemic; bringing the total recovered cases in Cambodia to 133,204, the Ministry of Health said in press release made public this morning.

Therefore, only two COVID-19 patients remain hospitalised, according to the same source.

At the same time, it continued, Cambodia reported no new cases of COVID-19 for 24 days in a row; the tally thus remains at 136,262, of which 21,219 are imported cases while 14,459 are locally transmitted Omicron cases.

In addition, there is zero new death; the death toll remains at 3,056.

Despite the success, Prime Minister Samdech Techo Hun Sen has repeatedly appealed to his compatriots to continue to stick to the health preventive measures and to get vaccinated.

The first COVID-19 case was found in Cambodia in late January 2020 in Preah Sihanouk province.
