COVID-19: Over 100 New Recovered Cases, but 40 New Infections

The Ministry of Health this morning announced the recovery of 108 more patients from COVID-19; bringing the total cured cases in Cambodia to 131,706.

Moreover, the ministry registered zero new death for a week; the death toll thus remains at 3,054.

But at the same time, 40 new community cases of COVID-19 were reported, all of Omicron variant.

The Kingdom’s COVID-19 tally now stood at 135,625, including 15,172 Omicron cases (13,833 Omicron community cases).

The first COVID-19 case was detected in Cambodia in late January 2020 in Preah Sihanouk province.
