COVID-19: Only 12 New Infections Reported This Morning

There were only 12 new cases of COVID-19 detected in Cambodia, of which 10 were locally transmitted and the other 2 were imported, according to the Ministry of Health’s press release issued this morning.

The tally now rose to 136,044, including 15,591 Omicron cases (14,248 Omicron community cases).

At the same time, the ministry announced the recovery of 19 more patients and zero new death; the total cured cases and death toll stood at 132,751 and 3,055, respectively.

The first COVID-19 case was reported in Cambodia in late January 2020 in Preah Sihanouk province.
