COVID-19: Daily Cases Remain at around 800 for Four Consecutive Days

 

The daily new cases of COVID-19 in Cambodia remain high, or at 839 this morning, of which 109 were imported, pointed out a press release of the Ministry of Health.

The national counts thus rose to 109,926, including 18,754 imported cases, the same source added.

Meanwhile, it continued, 530 more patients have recovered, but 18 others lost their lives; bringing the total cured and death cases to 101,185 and 2,261, respectively.

The first COVID-19 case was detected in Cambodia in late January 2020 in Preah Sihanouk province. The confirmed cases have surged quickly this year due to the Feb. 20 community outbreak.
