The number of new cases of COVID-19 in Cambodia declined to 125, all of Omicron variant, of which 124 were locally transmitted, according to a press release of the Ministry of Health issued this morning.
The tally thus increased to 134,068, including 13,615 Omicron cases (12,432 Omicron community cases).
At the same time, 345 new recoveries, but a new death were reported; bringing the total recovered cases and death toll in Cambodia to 128,968 and 3,047, respectively.
The first COVID-19 case was recorded in Cambodia in late January 2020 in Preah Sihanouk province.
