The Ministry of Health this morning announced the detection of 99 new cases of COVID-19, all of Omicron variant, of which 92 were locally transmitted and 7 were imported.
Cambodia’s COVID-19 tally now stood at 135,085, including 14,632 Omicron cases (13,309 Omicron community cases).
Meanwhile, the ministry registered 82 new recoveries, but a new death; bringing the total cured cases and death toll in the Kingdom to 131,038 and 3,052, respectively.
The first COVID-19 case was reported in Cambodia in late January 2020 in Preah Sihanouk province.
