A total of 416 new cases of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) was reported in Cambodia this morning the tally thus rose to 93,926, according to the Ministry of Health’s press release.
Among the new infections, 112 were imported while the rest were linked to the Feb. 20 community outbreak.
Besides, the ministry announced the recovery of 386 more patients, but 12 new deaths; bringing the total recovered and death cases in the Kingdom to 89,500 and 1,928, respectively.
The first COVID-19 case was detected in Cambodia in late January 2020 in Preah Sihanouk province. The confirmed cases have surged quickly this year due to the Feb. 20 Community Event.
