The Ministry of Health has reported 415 new COVID-19 cases, all of Omicron variant, of which 386 were locally transmitted and 29 were imported.
According to its press release issued this morning, Cambodia’s COVID-19 tally jumped to 131,004, including 10,551 Omicron cases (9,627 Omicron community cases).
But at the same time, 450 more patients have recovered, while no new death was recorded for four days in a row; the total cured and death cases in Cambodia thus stood at 124,627 and 3,032, respectively.
The first COVID-19 case was detected in Cambodia in late January 2020 in Preah Sihanouk province.
