The COVID-19 daily cases in Cambodia was reported at 145 this morning, all of Omicron variant, according to a press release of the Ministry of Health issued this morning.
Of the new infections, 115 were locally transmitted and 30 were imported, the same source added.
The Kingdom’s COVID-19 tally thus increased to 134,213, including 13,760 Omicron cases (12,547 Omicron community cases).
Meanwhile, the ministry pointed out, 324 new recoveries were recorded, while zero new death was announced; the total cured cases and death toll stood at 129,292 and 3,047, respectively.
The first COVID-19 case was detected in Cambodia in late January 2020 in Preah Sihanouk province.
