CDC Approves New Garment Factory Project in Kampong Speu Province

A US$3.5 million garment factory will be built in Bosstaney village, Kaheng commune, Samrong Thong district, Kampong Speu province, creating some 700 jobs for local people.

The newly approved project was announced by the Council for the Development of Cambodia (CDC) in a press release issued yesterday.

The garment factory project is invested by HAO JIA LI (CAMBODIA) GARMENT CO., LTD, the same source added.

Such investment demonstrates confidence of investors in Cambodia’s macroeconomic, political and social stability as the country is recovering from the COVID-19 pandemic.
