Cambodian Foreign Minister to Visit China’s Hangzhou City This Week

A Cambodian delegation led by Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation H.E. Prak Sokhonn will pay an official visit to Hangzhou city, Zhejiang province, the People’s Republic of China, from Dec. 3 to 5.

The visit will be made at the invitation of Chinese State Councillor and Minister of Foreign Affairs H.E. Wang Yi, according to a press release of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation.

During the three-day visit, it pointed out, H.E. Deputy Prime Minister Prak Sokhonn will hold a bilateral meeting with H.E. Wang Yi to discuss bilateral relations and cooperation in various areas such as the post-COVID-19 recovery, economy, trade, tourism, education, health, agriculture and defence, among others, as well as regional and international issues of common interest and concern.

The official visit will further strengthen the comprehensive strategic partnership of the two countries, long-standing relations of traditional friendship, solidarity, fraternity and tangible cooperation, and enhance cooperation within the multilateral framework for mutual benefits of the two peoples, underlined the press release.
