Cambodia will celebrate the National Reading Day on Mar. 11 via Zoom and Facebook live stream (MoEYS Cambodia), according a press release issued yesterday by the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports.

The ministry will lead the organisation of the event in cooperation with development partners and other education stakeholders.

This year’s National Reading Day is themed “Reading Promotes Quality of Life in Digital Society”.

Different activities ranging from reading, poetry and composing competitions to presentations and discussions will be held on the occasion.

Relevant government officials, teachers, parents and students are expected to join the event to mark the significance of reading for knowledge, especially in the COVID-19 context.
