Cambodia and Timor-Leste are considering direct flight connection between the two countries to facilitate tourist movement.
The intention was shared in the meeting between Cambodian Minister of Tourism H.E. Thong Khon and H.E. Agio Pereira, Senior Minister of Timor-Leste and H.E. Ermenegildo Kupa Lopes, Ambassador of Timor-Leste to Cambodia at the ministry’s office in Phnom Penh early this week.
The two sides also discussed cooperation on human resource development and mutual promotion of tourism products.
They expect a formalisation of a memorandum of understanding on bilateral tourism cooperation in a near future.
