Cambodia Registers No New COVID-19 Case for Over a Week

Cambodia has found zero new case of COVID-19 for eight days in a row; the tally thus remains at 136,262.

The good news was shared by Prime Minister Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen in a voice message on May 14 before his departure from Washington D.C.

Despite the success, Samdech Techo Hun Sen continued calling on his compatriots to stick to the health preventive measures and to get vaccinated.

The Premier always updates his compatriots of the COVID-19 situation in the country even during his working visit to the U.S.

According to a press release of the Ministry of Health issued this morning, since its outbreak in Cambodia in late January 2020 in Preah Sihanouk province, the pandemic has killed 3,056 people, while 133,192 others have been cured.
