Cambodia and France have pledged to further foster collaboration on culture between the two countries.
The pledge was made in a meeting here in Phnom Penh yesterday between H.E. Mrs. Phoeurng Sackona, Minister of Culture and Fine Arts and H.E. Jacques Pellet, newly appointed Ambassador of France to Cambodia.
H.E. Jacques Pellet spoke highly of the long-standing relations and close cooperation between the two nations in all sectors, especially in the field of culture.
From her end, H.E. Mrs. Phoeurng Sackona underlined the French government’s contribution to the preservation of Cambodian culture, through funding, human resources, techniques.
