Australia has pledged to conduct a study on the preparation of smart city in Phnom Penh.
The pledge was made by H.E. Pablo Kang, Ambassador of Australia to Cambodia in a meeting with H.E. Khuong Sreng, Governor of Phnom Penh here in Phnom Penh on April 25.
H.E. Pablo Kang spoke highly of Phnom Penh’s robust development and the capital’s effort in curbing COVID-19.
The diplomat acknowledged Cambodia’s effective management and prevention of the deadly disease.
From his end, H.E. Khuong Sreng thanked the Government of Australia for its intention to help the capital prepare for smart city.
Phnom Penh authority will support all the work and closely cooperate with the Australian Embassy, he underlined.
