Asian Development Bank (ADB) is committed to further promote education sector in Cambodia.

The commitment was made by visiting Mr. Ramesh Subramaniam, Director General of ADB’s Southeast Asian Regional Department in a meeting with H.E. Hang Chuon Naron, Minister of Education, Youth and Sports here in Phnom Penh on April 25.

Mr. Ramesh Subramaniam briefed the minister on the ADB’s support for Cambodia’s education this year and next years, especially the training on technology, sciences and STEM; and for higher education.

From his end, H.E. Hang Chuon Naron spoke highly of ADB’s active contribution to Cambodia’s education development, particularly in the higher education level.

He also underlined that the ministry is carrying out any projects related to technology such as STEM and technical skill development to respond to capacity demand for digital and smart agriculture in future.
